Over the last 3 years B & V Water Treatment have won a host of awards and gained national recognition for our growth and commitment to our customers.
INV-ENT Grant for 2015
Colleagues at B & V Water Treatment are delighted to have been successful in their application for an INV-ENT grant of £20,000. The grant has been awarded to fund further research and development into applications for their revolutionary water treatment products such as Ultralox 40 as well as for further expansion of the B & V Training Academy.
The INV-ENT fund, jointly delivered by Northampton Enterprise Partnership (NEP) and Northamptonshire County Council, provides grants to small and medium-sized organisations. The funding is designed to stimulate business development, innovation and growth.
This is the second year running that B & V Water Treatment have been successful in winning an INV-ENT grant and last year’s success in implementing new marketing strategies to bring Ultralox 40 to market and promotion of the B & V Training Academy have helped to secure a further grant for 2015.

Finalist Medilink East Midlands – Partnership with the NHS Award 2013
B & V Group were thrilled to be nominated as a finalist for the Medilink Award for Partnership with the NHS, for the development of a partnership in collaboration with the NHS that has/will have major impact/benefit. The nomination for this award was in recognition for our product Abulox and its extensive use in Healthcare facilities to eradicate waterborne pathogens, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Legionella. Ultralox 40 is a stable active halogen solution that rapidly kills all bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. The applications for this product are continually increasing and its use within hospitals should reduce the risks to patients. B & V Group have also developed an ICU grade version of Ultralox 40. Ultralox 40 is a highly efficient biocide used widely in the NHS, the B & V Group provides chemicals and services in over 150 Hospitals and Healthcare facilities in the UK.

Top 1000 Brightest business in Britain 2011
B & V Water Treatment were named one of the top 1,000 brightest businesses in Britain by the Daily Telegraph and were the only water treatment company to be selected.
B & V, one of the UK’s leading Legionella control and water treatment companies, has been praised for weathering the economic storm and is tipped to form the backbone of Britain’s recovery, according to the Telegraph.
The report was compiled with the help of NESTA, the innovation agency, and business information specialist Dun & Bradstreet.
The companies, whose annual sales are between £5m and £50m, collectively generate more than £50bn in sales and have all shown resilience during the recession.
Most of the Telegraph companies named increased sales and employment between 2009 and 2011 – including B & V which last year saw a turnover of close to £8 million, and was close to £10 million in 2011 – 2012.
Northamptonshire Business of the Year 2010
B & V Water Treatment won the title at the annual Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards which recognise top performance among hundreds of companies across the East Midlands county.
B & V Water's remarkable success stems from its continued investments during the recession including a 33% increase in staff employed in the last year alone which has helped to sustain a consistent double digit growth in sales.
Panel judge John Harley from ACS Office Solutions, which won the title last year, was impressed by his visit to B & V Water Treatment.
"This is a company with future vision, born out of a desire to succeed in the global market place. It has a highly skilled workforce with leading scientists researching and developing their own products, delivering many benefits to people and companies throughout the world," he explained.
"The management and staff at B & V are all passionate about the company they are working for and share in the immense benefits of 'BVision,' the cornerstone of the company ethos. The results of the culture that has been created set this organisation apart from many others."
International Trader of the Year 2009
B & V Water Treatment won International Trader of the Year 2009 at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards on Thursday 26th November 2009.
The award ceremony of the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards 2009 was held at the Barcelo Hotel in Daventry, with comedian Jason Manford (from TV’s 8 Out of 10 Cats) hosting the evening. Hundreds of nominees from all over the county attended, hopeful to win the award for their category.
B & V Water Treatment were nominated for International Trader of the Year 2009 against 4 other hopefuls. The award was sponsored and judged by HSBC in Northampton. Ian Warren, who made up the judging team with his colleague Russ Chauhan, from HSBC Northampton said the following: ‘The thing that impressed us the most was the way that B & V Water Treatment treat all of their customers individually and create bespoke solutions for each one. Every company is unique and will have different problems making it important to have that capability. They are also exporting to the more difficult countries in the world, which we were impressed with.’
Siobhan Moll from the Marketing Department at B & V Water Treatment said: ‘We are so pleased to have won this award. A lot of hard work goes in to everything we do, especially export, and we’re very pleased to have the recognition. We hope to expand our export even further and know that the award will help us to achieve this goal.
