Dr Stephen Walker, a member of the B & V Effluent Services division, has recently been praised for his presentation titled Copper in Distillery Effluent Discharge Presentation at the Institute of Brewers and Distillers (IBD) Worldwide Distilled Spirits Conference (WDSC). The presentation outlines the work that Dr Walker has been carrying out to reduce the Copper discharge rates of many top Distilleries. The presentation was extremely well received by the delegates at the WDSC Conference who voted it the top presentation of the event and one delegate’s in particular had this to say about Dr Walker’s presentation:
“Thank goodness a sensible paper, that was technically sound and not another sales pitch!”
