HSC (L8) Approved Code of Practice describe the use of dipslides for the weekly monitoring of bacteria levels in cooling water

Dipslides
must be incubated in a dipslide incubator (usually at 30oC) for a minimum of 48 hours. The incubation period and the temperature should be the same each time the test is performed so that trend analysis is possible. Dipslides, when used in conjunction with the Kittiwake Field Incubator enable effective microbiological monitoring of cooling water in accordance with the HSE L8 ACOP.

B & V offer a full range of professional quality incubators suitable for dipslides and developed to meet the needs of engineers, facilities managers and water treatment professionals
