Q to symbolise a question asked about legionella training courses  Is this qualification recognised in Scotland?

A that symbolises the answer to a question about legionella training courses  Scotland has a different qualification regulator in comparison to England, however, it is still recognised because it meets the requirements of the European Qualifications Framework.

The European Qualification Framework (EQF) has been introduced to relate all countries’ national qualification systems to a common reference framework. The QCF, along with both the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) and The National Framework of Qualifications for Ireland (NFQ IE), is part of the EQF which makes comparing qualifications across countries and frameworks easier. For further information, please visit: http://ec.europa.eu/eqf/compare_en.htm

HABC offers a wide range of qualifications that have been accredited for delivery using the rules of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), which was developed jointly by regulators in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. All HABC qualifications that are included on the QCF can be delivered outside of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. However, HABC strongly advises that providers and learners check with regulators in the country which the qualification holder wishes to work in to confirm whether the qualification will be recognised.
