Training Courses
The range of Legionella training courses offered by our training department are extremely popular. These can be carried out at B & V Head offices in Daventry (please see the dates of our courses below) or on site. Training on site may be appropriate and cost effective where a number of personnel from a particular site require training. On site courses can also be specifically tailored to requirements.
We offer a range of Legionella control courses at B & V to ensure that staff and managers on site are fully compliant with legislation and understand how to minimise the risk of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens.
Legionella – Managing the Risk
Full day course - £185.00 + VAT
This course explains the responsibilities of all personnel involved in legionella control, from the Duty Holder and directors, to the Responsible Person and nominated deputies, to operators and appointed contractors. It covers the control of legionella in cooling tower systems, hot and cold water systems, process water systems, emergency systems, fire systems, in any system where water is likely to exceed 20°C and where a spray or aerosol may be generated during operation or when being maintained. It is designed to look at Legionella control from a practical point of view, rather than talking about a mysterious bug.
